On Wednesday December 14, 2011 St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham Massachusetts, proudly dedicated The Rosarie Center, A Transitional Care Unit. Named in loving memory of Sister M. Kathleen Rosarie, O.Carm, this unit will focus on caring for individuals in need of short-term rehabilitation after surgery, injury or illness. Services will include Orthopedic, Cardiac, Pulmonary, and Neurological Rehabilitation; Vascular and Post-Surgical Wound Management as well as Pain Management and IV Therapy.
Officiated by Reverend Robert Reed the ceremony included a blessing of the unit, a scriptural reading by Sister Ann Elizabeth Brown, O. Carm, and the Intercession Prayer by Sister M Dominica Anne Immaculate Montuori, O. Carm. Closing remarks were presented by Mother M. Mark Louis Anne Randall, O. Carm.
The Rosarie Center features 27-all private rooms with a state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym offering physical, occupational, and speech therapy 7 days a week and nursing care by CRRN’s, Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses. This skilled team will work closely together to help individuals attain their highest level of functioning for a smooth transition home or to the most appropriate community setting.
