Celebrating Perpetual Profession of Vows

On October 7, 2017, as the Universal Church celebrated the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary, Sister Mary Josephine Crowe, O.Carm. professed Perpetual Vows as a Carmelite Sister for the Aged and Infirm.The event was held at Saint Teresa’s Chapel in Germantown, New York. The Eucharistic liturgy was celebrated by Most Reverend Edward Scharfenberger, Bishop of Albany. Very Reverend Mario Esposito, O.Carm was Master of Ceremony. Present at the altar were other invited members of the clergy including Sr. Mary Josephine’s brother, Rev. Phillip Crowe.The Carmelite Sisters were delighted to welcome Sr. Mary’s friends and family members who traveled from Ireland to Saint Teresa’s Motherhouse to celebrate this joyous occasion. Congratulations, Sister Mary Josephine! May your life in Carmel be continually blessed with joy, graces and love for the Church and His elderly!
